London based artist, Turner prize nominee Mark Titchner has a solo exhibition taking over the Lost Horizon Landing Zone.
“The last months have shaken the world. We’ve changed the way we live, the way we communicate and the way we consume. Whilst the world has been propped up by the efforts and valour of healthcare professionals and key workers those in the creative sphere have faced the challenges of closures, cancellations and the loss of income.
“The challenges moving forward seem almost insurmountable. Yet we know that this is the time to imagine the world anew rather than to lurch back to a worse version of what we had before. Part of this is thinking about what we can do rather than what we can’t. Of taking on the challenge of reimagining ourselves and building new opportunities, finding new audiences in new and creative ways and being together when everything is pushing us apart.”
